Carlos Corberan, the manager of West Brom, has guided Albion to seven points from their first three games of the new campaign.
Carlos Corberan believes that West Brom will have enough cover at right back for the majority of the season. As a result, he anticipates that the final efforts made by Albion during the transfer window will be concentrated on finding what he believes to be the one missing piece of their squad—an additional striker option.
After a strong first few weeks of the season, Corberan was open about his desire to add more players to his team. Since then, the Baggies have signed versatile Callum Styles on a permanent basis and midfielder Uros Racic on loan; both players may make their debuts this coming weekend against Swansea City.
With the addition of Lewis Dobbin, Gianluca Frabotta, Ousmane Diakite, Torbjorn Heggem, Devante Cole, and Joe Wildsmith, Albion has ultimately had a very successful summer. However, as the deadline for signings approaches on Friday night, both Corberan and Albion supporters are hoping for one last push at recruiting that is within the club’s budget.
