Steinbruckner wants Terengganu FC to contain Kuching City FC import striker pair

Steinbruckner desires that Terengganu FC field a strike duo of imports from Kuching City FC.

KUALA NERUS: 21 June During their Super League encounter at Sarawak State Stadium tomorrow night, Terengganu FC (TFC) coach Tomislav Steinbruckner has warned his players to exercise particular caution around Kuching City FC’s (KCFC) two import strikers.

Jordan Mintah and former TFC player Kipre Tchetche, according to Steinbrucker, possess the skills of a strong striker and might pose a threat to TFC’s defense.

“Kipre Tchetche and Jordan Mintah are both of good quality. They are exceptionally good strikers, and I don’t say this because they used to play for Terengganu.

“I think we’ll have a difficult time in Kuching from them. However, I instructed my guys to exercise greater caution and maintain control over these two individuals,” he said to Bernama today.

As TFC was currently performing well in second place and had advanced to the FA Cup quarterfinals the previous week, he also challenged his players to give it their all in order to secure three points and guarantee that the team stays in the top three spots in the league.

“To get more victories, we need to maintain our positive momentum. I hope we can win this away game for our motivation when we play Sabah for the FA Cup at the end of this month,” he stated, noting that he had not yet decided on the starting eleven.
